When Saturday Comes

Wednesday, 06 October 2004
England v Wales on Saturday, as if it's possible to escape that fact at the moment! Will Owen play? Will Rooney break another bone (he did last time he played for England!). Will Owen play? How many Welshmen will get sent off? Will Owen play? Does Mark Hughes really care anymore? Will Owen play? Will Beckham be in the middle or on the right? Will Owen play?

One man missing, and quite rightly, is Robbie Savage. Apparently he had a bit of a scuffle with Souness at the weekend. Bless him. He's never really got over being given the boot (no pun intended) by Man Utd when his fellow youth team mates (Beckham, Scholes, Butt, Neville & Neville - now there's a firm of solicitors!) went onto better things. Best thing Savage could do is take the chip off his shoulder and accept he's not the best footballer in the world.

Notice everyone's now conviniently forgotten the player/media boycott from Poland now.

BUT WILL OWEN PLAY????????

Does it really matter?????????????????????????????

Pointless debates

Wednesday, 06 October 2004
Just listened to the VP Debate. What a whole lot of nothing! Never mind these 2 attempting to sell themselves to further the cause. It was all just pointless babble, little digs at each other and trying so hard to hype up their masters.

This bickering is pointless.

Some ponderings

Monday, 04 October 2004
Had a blitz on doing the tour dates in the DLBG today. How many dates? Too many. Too much sql! Repetition! Endless, on and on and on.

I'm turning into a workaholic again. Did this last year. Really not a good idea but what's a guy to do sometimes?

Went into York this morning. Wandering around again, coffee in Starbucks and buying nothing. One day I'll do something constructive there!

Have to find a decent way to spend the next month before I go to the USA. Can't wait for it!!! Then off to Aus. I'm getting all excitable.

Been reading

Sunday, 03 October 2004
Now finished reading The Rules Of Attraction (Bret Easton Ellis). Interesting book that spawned an interesting film. The concept of 80s student life amongst a group of pretty much drop out types, like many students there to just be there.

It's not my fault!

Sunday, 03 October 2004

I keep going on random blog trips and finding girls from Melbourne! Of all the cities in all the world I end up in Melbourne (metaphorically) reading blogs.

Anyway, maybe it's fate, destiny, there to remind me I'll be there in 64 days!

In my experience there's no such thing as luck..............
