Fredericksburg

Fredericksburg lies 50 miles south of Washington DC in the state of Virginia and is part of the Washington Metropolitan Area. Located on the Rappahannock River Fredericksburg began life in 1676. As the frontier grew the newly formed Spotsylvania County established Fredericksburg in 1728. The city is named after Frederick, Prince Of Wales, the son of George II.
