Decided I really like this town. It's small and doesn't have much going for it but I've really liked the place. Had a walk in and along the Todd River. It being dry this time of year. It may be a novelty for me the river being dry but apparently the locals see the water as a novelty, as a result loads of them camp out after rain waiting for the water to come along.

Back into town and a few photos, not too many though since there were a lot of Aboriginals about and they don't take too kindly to being photographed. Actually, it sometimes feels like there's two dimensions here. One for us whites and one for the aboriginals. We both share the same space but pretty much ignore one another.

Took a wander round an art gallery. Some excellent paintings of the local sights - Kings Canyon, Alice, Ayer's Rock. Had lunch and spent the afternoon by the pool again. I think staying in Alice for a couple of days was a good idea. Definately helped to relax after the Face The Outback tour.
