Cold

Everywhere is somewhat white this morning. A heavy frost has covered vast areas and travelling through to Scarborough would have been somewhat picturesque had it not been for the heavy fog that had also descended overnight.

It's also cold. Too damn cold and, fool that I am, came out without scarf or gloves and so spent half an hour freezing in York station. A matter not helped by the goods train that rattled through bringing with a wind that chilled me right through.
