Wednesday. Wash day. I don't know why but I love doing laundry. Cleaning. Washing away a week's worth of grime from everything, starting again. I'd do it every day but that would just be silly.

It's true. I have a washing fetish. It doesn't extend just to laundry though. Washing up after dinner is also a thrilling experience. I love doing it. Maybe it's something about water. I don't know and don't care I just know I like doing it.

Not that it's all without it's perils either. I came to Australia with around 10 pairs of socks and now have 5 and a half pairs left. I've made the sacrifices to the great Laundry God. It's required throughout life. Laundry God gives you clean clothes but that comes with making the odd offering from time to time.

Nor do I wash myself all the time either. I do shower every day and try and keep myself clean but not in an obsessive kind of way.
