Yesterday was a nice day again so for want of something better to do I went off to the MCG again. Figured it was about time I saw a few other teams play some footy and with a Western Bulldogs team that's suddenly found some very good form playing West Coast Eagles, who are top of the AFL ladder and look like staying there. It should have been a very interesting match. I went down early this time, having a walk round the ground and taking a few photos from the outside, something I'd yet to do at the MCG. The match itself turned out to be a lot of fun. The Bulldogs took control and made the Eagles look ordinary, coming out 43 point winners by the end. What irritated me was the way one father (an Eagles fan) treated his daughter (Doggies fan). After the first period he sat in front of her for the rest of the game and did his best to block her view while telling her to be quiet every time she started giving some vocal encouragement to her team. Spent last night in a pub watching the cricket. At least this second Ashes test is sort of going the right way. Think today's going to be a quiet one. I've got fantasy teams to sort.
