Another weekend passes. Another weekend of some fun footy.

Back in the MCG again for the Demons v Saints. After the big wins from the previous 3 games this one should have been a bit tougher. Although the Demons have been on a decline lately. The Saints were somewhat uplifted by the return from long term injuries of club skipper Nick Riewoldt, Luke Penny, Aaron Hamill and Robert Harvey. The Demons, for their part, decided not to play football for the first 15 minutes. Instead going for players rather than the ball. Never a good idea. Their attempts to 'test' Riewoldt's shoulder (he broke his collarbone) throughout meant the Saints got all the the ball and scored a number of goals before the Demons got going, which they did. Eventually.

The damage had been done though and it became a fun if easy game. The Saints winning 27.14 (176), 13.10 (88). Photos are here.

Elsewhere in the world. Sunday was a relaxing day of doing very little. The weather was good so I had a wander along High St in Northcote. Not much to see or do but it's good to get out now and again. I'd spent the rest of the day continuing my lessons in CSS. At some point I might just get the hang of positioning.
