Melbourne. It's becoming a bit of a second home for me. I've spent a lot of time here and enjoy it more than the other big cities in Aus I've been to (Perth being the only one missing on the list so far). I've only ever got here via the air (5 times now).

It's also somewhat refreshing to be able to sleep in a room on my own with no chance of people coming in at varying times of the night and day. You do miss those little things when living in hostels for 5 months.

There's a few friends here as well as family and I'll be catching up with them over the next few weeks. Plus there's the footy and I'll be in the Telstradome again on Sunday for the Saints/Blues game. A game the Saints ought to win since the Blues are a shambolic mess heading for the wooden spoon this season.

12 Apostles
The famous shot of the 12 Apostles

While I've been away one of the 12 Apostles has fallen down. The 12 Apostles are a set of rock stacks in the Port Campbell National Park, down the Great Ocean Road. A major tourist attraction and well photographed by me in January. There's also a load of famous pictures, posters and postcards of them around the world, all now wrong!

11 Apsotles
After the event, one Apostle gone.

I'd like to start a campaign to have the stacks changed back to their original name of the Sow and Piglets. After the 11 Apostles is just plain daft! The rest of them will fall down as well though so I'd suggest that you go see them while you can.
