Yesterday I had a long leisurely walk around Cairns. There's not a lot to it really although it's a decent little town. Most of it comprises cafes, shops, hostels and a mass of tour places. As usual, it's a case of once your here someone wants to sell you a tour to go somewhere else. As I can't abide hot and humid conditions I spent the afternoon in the cinema watching Batman Begins. Now that was a fun movie. I always liked Tim Burton's Batman movie but the sequels to that started getting a little silly. Batman Begins takes things back to the less comedic and darker aspects of the character. Although hightlight of the day was seeing the trailer for Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit!!! Today's been all about work. I've been putting together a shop for Sarah Photogirl, a friend from back home who is an exceptional photographer. She's featured heavily in The Darkness book Permission To Rock recently done some work with Scarborough author GP Taylor (of Shadowmancer fame) and currently has an exhibition going on in London, which I'm disapointed I'm missing. Tomorrow I head off to Cape Trib for a couple of days. Comment on this article
