I've been in Brisbane two night now. Both nights have been littered with odd little dreams. A bunch of little stories playing themselves out in my head. I dream, wake up, go back to sleep and start again several times a night.

They've included giving flowers to my ex-girlfriend, getting lost in the middle of the Australian outback, my sister-in-law being extremely famous and having magazine articles written about her, Rafael Benitez quitting as Liverpool manager and a couple of x-rated affairs.

If anything though, it's left me feeling a little tired but inspired. I came up with the outline for a story this morning during breakfast. Whether or not I write it remains to be seen though. I'm good at ideas and not so good at actually writing them out.

As far as Brisbane goes, yesterday's dodgy weather dampned things a bit (literally) so I spent most of the day inside internet cafes and had another trip to the movies to see Revenge Of The Sith again (3rd time now). Also finished reading the rather intriguing and interesting Hemingway's Chair by Michael Palin. A crazy affair of the decline of the English Post Office and one man's obsession with Hemingway.

Today the sun has come out again and so has my camera.

It's obvious from your dreams, mate. You're on a positive creative streak. Use it while it lasts, jot those ideas down, and don't write them till you feel like it.

I couldn't help but think of a recent blog entry from a friend's blog this morning.
