Normally I'd be here later in the day. Tonight I need to be in bed early. I have to awake at 4.30am. I've probably mentioned it before but there's a downside to being in Oz. Football starts at 4.45am.

It's been a nervous day too. I can't think straight at the moment. Just trying to write emails today has been difficult.

The whole concept of a football match might lead some people to boredom but as Bill Shankley is often misquoted as saying, 'Football's not a matter of life and death, it's much more serious than that'.

Hopefully this isn't going to be another Superbowl. I had that disapointment back in January and I don't want it again now.

I did manage to update this site this morning. Great, I thought. Now I can get the commenting system updated!

Aaaaaarrrrrgggggggghhhhhhh! Little did I know I'd need the Zend Optimiser for it.

BAH!

I don't blame the developer either. I blame Supanames, the host, for not having it.

Anyway, I put in a request for the non Zended version. With a bit of luck and a trailing wind we'll have better comments soon..........
