Last night's viewing was so much fun though. So many people there, some dressed up, most not. A bit of a competition in the cinema before the movie to pick the best dressed. Won by a Tusken up against various Jedi, Darth Vaders and a couple of Leia's. It also felt like a return to the good old days of going to the movies. When I was young we'd always cheer at the start of the movie. Somewhere along the way everyone's stopped doing that and it's something I miss. Last night we had it all. Everyone cheering the start of the movie, cheering Chewie just for being there, applauding Yoda for being such a cool little green dude! And did I enjoy the film itself? Absolutely. Totally. I loved it. So much better than Episodes I and II. The opening scenes of the Battle of Coruscant were mind blowing. The lightsaber fights, of which there are a few with various protagonists, were very fast and intense. I cried while Order 66 was being carried out. I ended up walking back to Kings Cross afterwards. I was on a high. I sat outside and had a text convo with Matt, finally going to bed around 5am. Comment on this article
