A bit of a Q&A time. The beauty of the internet is that every now and again you come across some wonderful people. Tara's one of those people and has set me a set of lovely questions to answer so that she and the rest of the world (well, you the dear reader) can get to know me a little better. 1. So, Ed, what drew you from merry old England to Australia in the first place? Chasing after another Aussie sheila? Yep. The reason I'm here now is because of a woman. That and others. I first came to Australia last April for three weeks. The reason for that is because my brother happens to be married to an Aussie and lives in Melbourne. Last April's visit was to see them and some of Aus. At the time I was in a relationship with a very wonderful Aussie who happened to be in England for a couple of years. So I came back here for 2 reasons, 1) to be with aforementioned Aussie and 2) to see more of the country. Unfortunately reason 1) dumped me but reason 2) remained and so here I am. I still miss her as well. I totally fucked up the friendship we had and if I could take back the things I said to her I would. 2. Out of the many projects you're currently working on or dreaming up in your mind, which are you most excited about or feel will be the most "fun" for you? Which do you think will provide the greatest good/service for the global community in general? Well, EhCo Design was all but finished this morning. That gives me some more time to do the other 2 things I'm working on at the moment. The one I'm most excited about has to be the dating site. I like a challenge in my work, I find easy things a bit boring after a while and setting this up is becoming a challenge, there's the actual creation of the site then there will be marketing. If I'm going to use it as an income generator then it has to succeed. If all goes well then a lot more poeple will be having a lot more fun in life. I'm also not saying too much about the site since I don't want my ideas stolen and I'm not yet 100% exactly how it's all going to fit together. There is also the plan to expand WW more, whether this happens though I'm still not sure. I haven't thought about it enough yet. 3. A couple of my favorite bloggers are lamenting a long "drought" from sex these days. Being in "traveler mode" when all your senses are peaked, what would you say you've found to be the quickest way to get a woman in bed? What would you similarly recommend for a woman to get a guy in bed? (hint: you can tell us what would work on you) Long droughts. I know about those. I don't know about quick ways to get a woman into bed. I've never been able to do it. Quickly that is. Since I'm in Sydney at the moment the quickest way to get a woman into bed is give her at least AU$200! Failing that, I don't know. I've missed out on the last 2 women I've met in Aus, one already have someone, the other went north last week. Sometimes you meet someone and everything just clicks into place. The last three women I've had sex with I originally met on the internet. However I meet people if there's someone I like then I will somehow tell her, show her that I like her. If a woman wants to get me into bed then she should take an interest in me and just tell me. Never give up, keep looking and someone will come along. Honesty works wonders as well! 4. What've you found to be the biggest benefit of being a blogger and having an online presence? It's the people you come across who also blog. Some are wonderful and become friends. Why do I blog? Because I needed a way to show off photos without having to send tons of emails. It's all easier this way. There's also a bit of an exhibitionist in me. I'm an internet junkie and this is another excuse to be online. 5. What is one thing (or several) that an Englishman, on average, can do better than an American man? We can speak English! We can vote for our country's leaders without too much hassle. We can find Iraq on a map. Actually, I can't think of a serious answer. 6. Is it true that "dating" isn't practiced in the UK as it is here in the States? We date. We take ladies out, ie take them out to dinner, a movie, or whatever. Unless dating has a totally different meaning over there that I don't know about (see Q 5). 7. What do you love about Tara? Come on, tell me! What I like in a woman is intelligence, a free spirit and an open mind. Tara has all. I know I don't much about her yet but those three things interest me. Her blog is fun to read, I want to read more of her writing.I find her fascinating. I'm intrigued and excited by her. Comment on this article
