The TV is awash with ads, the stations are covered in posters. This morning Channel 7 tried to compare George's script with the mad ramblings of George Walker Bush. We're nearly there..........

Had a fun day yesterday. Spent all morning working on various websites and ideas for new sites. Things are coming along. I have some inspiration. I have someone giving me ideas and encouragement.  At this rate I'll be staying in Sydney longer than planned but at the moment that's a good thing. Things are on the up for a few people I know here and who knows where it will all lead to.

The afternoon was a mix of thought and movies. Well, a movie. 9 Songs. Another in the growing list of sexually explicit offerings, some of which were awful, some which weren't. The movie follows a brief period in the lives of a couple who spend their time either fucking or going to gigs at Brixton Academy. The music is supplied from the likes of Franz Ferdinand, The Dandy Warhols, The Super Furry Animals and others while the sex develops into some beautiful scenes of oral sex with blindfolds, restraint, fantasy and ejaculation. I was under the impression that 2 things not allowed as yet in movies was male ejaculation and showing penetrative sex. 9 Songs has both.

And so to the evening. It was a hostel night out at the Fitzroy Hotel. A AU$7 steak and beer deal. Not to be missed. The downside to the evening. At least 3 hostels were there, thus the place was jam packed solid. Masses of people, food and beer around. Queues stretching up the stairs, down again and into the kitchen. Added to that - My order got screwed up. I had to wait 45 mins and complain twice to eat. That spoiled the day, the evening and subsequently I didn't stay much longer having finished eating. I didn't want these people having any more of my money. I went to drink elsewhere.
