After what seems like forever I managed to get out of Sydney yesterday. The weather's been really great lately and a trip to the Blue Mountains was on offer. Something not to be refused.

Five of us went, originally intending to set off around 10am we finally left the hostel at 11. Driving out of Sydney, much like any city, was dull and slow but once out on the road everything was good. An hour and a half later and we're in Katoomba, home of the famous views of the Blue Mountains and the 3 Sisters.

As usual I'm stood around taking more photos than I really need to but I can't help myself. I like my camera. I've always thought if I take 50 photos then there should be at least 2 good ones. We all had a walk down towards the 3 Sisters but no one really wanted to do the full blown walk down the steps so a quick drive took us to the beautifully steep railway down and a cable car back up again.

I was exhausted by the end of it. After Monday's day in bed I didn't sleep again that night. I was fine most of the day and managed to get myself online in the evening, write a couple of emails, read a few blogs and some of the RotS screenplay.

Last night, trying to watch Punch Drunk Love I couldn't concentrate. There were images on the TV, there was sound but the two weren't mixing into anything that made sense!
