I'd been out Sunday afternoon and walking back to the hostel heard my name being called. Had the pleasant surprise of seeing Jeanette sat on the steps of one of the other hostels. I didn't expect anyone from the Face The Outback tour to be in Sydney so that was good. We had a chat for a while and caught up.

Went out later to watch some football. A night of Milan-Juventus and Arsenal-Liverpool seemed to be a really good one, in theory. Knowing Liverpool's dodgy Premiership record didn't put me off either.

I never made it to the end of the Arsenal-Liverpool game. I should have known better. Maybe I'm superstitious but Liverpool have lost every Premiership match I've watched in Australia.

My head was also starting to pound. I'm prone to the odd migraine. A few things such as wine, chocolate and food with too many e numbers in set them off. I don't know what caused this one to start but having gone to bed at around 2.30am Monday morning I only got up again at 9.30pm. 19 hours of pain, sleep and being woken up now and again.

Never be ill in a hostel.

What always annoys me about migraines is that I lose a day of my life. A whole day that could have been spent doing something useful, productive or entertaining. I can't do anything about it though.

I had wanted to work on my websites, I had wanted to read more of a website I was told about yesterday, I had wanted to enjoy the curry night at the hostel, I had wanted to talk to a few people.

Fiddle-de-dee. Tomorrow is another day.
