Had a night in, for a change. The intention was to go to bed early and get up for the Chelski-Liverpool Champions League Semi Final First Leg. That all ganged aft a-gley.

After a brace of VBs I ended up watching Donnie Brascoe and Goodfellas. I like a good gangster movie and you can't ever go far wrong with either Al Pacino or Bob De Niro. By 2.15am this morning I was in bed though. A headache creeping up on me and the desire to sleep somewhat overwhelming. I then woke again at 4.15am, half an hour short of kick of time. Nearly there......

Fell asleep again. Missed the game. Woke up at various times throughout the morning with my head feeling like it wanted to split open.

After more sleep, coffee, coke and cigarettes I now feel fine. Next plan - go and see the Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy movie. I'm going with an open mind, knowing it's been tweaked from the original story. Normally I detest the way Hollywood ruins good stories for it's own commercial gain but from some of the reviews I've read HHGTTG isn't so bad.
