One thing I've noticed while being in Australia is the amount of French I'm speaking now. Considering I've barely spoken it for 10 years since splitting up with a former French girlfriend I appear to have remembered a fair bit. Still harder to speak than to listen and understand but in the last few weeks it's all coming back.

Also now decided I'm not going to apply for permanent residency in Aus. Not that I'm getting homesick but there's more for me in the northern hemisphere than there is here, whether in England or the USA.

Nor am I disapointed with Aus though. Given that my brother lives here I'll be coming back from time to time.

With April also being upon us it's now a year since I was last in Aus. Doesn't seem that long ago and with everything else that went on during last year it sometimes got forgotten. I wouldn't be here at all though if it wasn't for a good kick up the arse that I needed, something I'll always be grateful for even if that gets forgotten as well from time to time.

Anyway, I'm off to watch Five Children and It.
