Had one of the best nights out in Sydney last night. Started with a bit of the Swans-Lions match, a beer and a few drinking games.

Ended up in the Side Bar in downtown Sydney. More drinking games, hooked up with a bunch of other backpackers and drank and danced the night away. That's the 2nd time in Sydney I've been on a dancefloor. Scary thought. Although last night I was dragged on by one of the girls.

Had a few moments of mild depression when the Man City-Liverpool result was texted to me but that didn't last.

Four of us left together when the place closed at 3am. Wandered round Central station till we realised that the trains to the Cross had long since finished so found a taxi.

The final intention of the night was to drink some more. Couldn't get into any of the bars due to someone being too drunk or not having suitable ID. After one of the girls left I wandered off after her, leaving the other 2 to do what men and women do when they've had a few drinks and kind-of-like-each-other.

Finally in bed by 5am and slept well till midday. No hangover but then that's the power of the Berocca for you!

Found out as well that the Swans won last night. Tipping's not going well this week....
