Spent yesterday doing very little till the evening when the guys from the dorm and I went off to Manly for a quick wander.

The rain kindly held off till we were on the ferry, when it came down after leaving Circular Quay. Not much opportunity for photos. Darkness descended, rain fell. Manly was a walk up to the beach - maybe somewhere good on a hot day, not so great on the wet night.

Straight back to the ferry and back home for a few beers before heading off to the World Bar again for more beer, convos and pool. It seems my game is slowly coming back too, actually managed to get myself going on some good pots (and some flukey ones). Mixed the evening with a few other guys, won a dollar on the 3-shot-lighter trick, met an Aboriginal who loved Syd Barrett and Roger Waters yet despised Dave Gilmour.

Having been mixing beer with Baileys (not in the same glass) I'm feeling rough today. Slept well, woke up at 9.30, frantically packed since I'm heading off today and now just waiting to be picked up......
