Rough night's sleep. Really didn't want to get up this morning but Adam's gentle "Wakey Wakey" was enough to get a few of us up. Managed to miss my morning coffee, not best pleased about that. I can't cope without it.

More sunrise photo opportunities, though this last one didn't seem so good. Maybe I was smarting over the lack of coffee in my system though. Today's challenge - walk round Ayer's Rock or on it. Or do what I did, go for coffee at the Cultural Centre and walk round part of it.

Actually, turned into a very nice walk. Nice to get a bit of solitude from time to time. Took a load of close up photos and subsequently lost one of the them from a point of importance to the Aboriginals. Several sections of the rock are of high spiritual importance and shouldn't be photographed. My mistake was accidental but still, the photo somehow deleted itself.

After a 2-3km walk I sat in the sun and watched those who chose to climb come down again. Lunch was at another of the resort pools and so a swim was in order again. Also a game of piggy-in-the-middle, boys v girls, the Battle Of The Sexes Round Two. An easy victory for the guys.

So onto King's Creek. Our place of sleep for the night. The last night of camping and a flurry of activity as email addresses, flags and notebooks were passed around for comment. Dinner was Adam's tomato-free Spag Bol. A warm night and sleep was hard to come by.
