Great Ocean Road Day 3

PDF Print E-mail
Monday, 17 January 2005
This morning (Tuesday) I set off at 8am to the 12 Apostles (going back down
the road a bit), took far too many photos of that and then started continuing
back towards Port Campbell, stopping at Loch Ard Gorge, The Arch, London
Bridge and all the other named rock formations.

Eventually ended up back on the Princes Highway so having done that I've
now driven the entire length of the GOR. Came further west to Warmanbool
for tonight. It's a nice town, interesting maritime museum. Bought the Metallica
album St Anger (had to after seeing the Some Kind Of Monster movie and it
was $21).

Discovered that a bit further west is Mount Eccles! So I might go and have
a look at that tomorrow although I did intend to drive back to Melbourne.
Have to see what I end up doing in the morning.
