Alexandria

Off to Alexandria today. Very nice town, also where Matt works. Had a long walk round the place after stopping off and Mount Vernon on the way. Mount Vernon was George Washington's home. Didn't go into the house, just wandered round the gardens with Howard for an hour.

Alexandria was a fun place. Bought Kestrel a new toy at the "Olde Town School for Dogs", ate at the Union Street Bar before heading off to the Kind Street Blues bar for a few Jim Bean & Cokes. Spent some time in a couple of bookstores and had another drink in Murphey's. Ended the evening with coffee in Starbucks.

Stopped off at Borders on the way home and bought T.O.'s autobiography, Catch This.

Kicked Matt's ass at Madden 2005.
